It's the fifth article in page 31.
Worth noting is that they are going after the young ones. One whole article was spent for that purpose and the last page was clearly targeting young people to dedicate to the full time service to "Jehovah"
articles such at "100 years of kingdom rule" in which jehovah has 'in a sense' begun ruling as king, and jesus in a sense was made king.
even though the kingdom hasn't actually come.
it's not clear if the 1,000 year reign has began or not, if so only 900 years left of jesus rule?

as some of you may know, i am latino.
there are around 2 million jw's who speak spanish around the world, and i want to reach them with the truth about "the truth" (also known as ttatt).. here's the two main problems with ttatt in spanish:.
1. i have not seen a site like www.jwfacts.com in spanish at all.... 2. even if there was a site like www.jwfacts.com, 95% of the spanish-speaking jw's won't have access to wt publications earlier than 1970. .
I like and support the idea. Count me in.
so after the annual meeting, on sunday, the elders want to talk with my family.
i do not like this one bit.
perhaps i am being exposed.
Intestinal illness? not a bad idea. Take a laxative and time it to hit you hard around the time of the elders' visit.
i had been wondering over the past few years whether there really was a historical jesus at all, until a few months ago when i read bart ehrman's latest book "did jesus exist?
" initially i was persuaded by his argument that the nt contains multiple sources that testify to jesus' existence.
but more recently i have been reading the christ myth position of richard carrier and his responses to ehrman.
Raymond Franz,
The guys you mention don't talk about Jesus, they talk about Christians. Quite a difference. None of them were witnesses of Jesus deeds or sayings. The only people who talk about Jesus are the apostles. The gospel writers wrote at least three decades after his death. Their stories, even though are to some extent copies of each other (Mrk Luke and Matthew), they still have several conflicting accounts. Jesus may have existed, but no way he is "more historical" than Alexander the Great. You are dead wrong on that one.
i didn't even realize the vw bus was still in production but vw in brazil still produces the iconic bus, production will end in december.. many of us had vw buses, surf wagons et al, i had a 1959 'camper' special we would take on surfing trips to baja california and camp on the beaches down by san quentin.. i took my 'magic bus ride' with four jw buddies just before my arrest over the vietnam draft.
we rode up the california coast to big sur.
with the side door open and feet hanging out we traveled the coastal route from los angeles through santa barbara, pismo beach, san simeon, big sur and monterey ending in san francisco where i hopped a flight back to los angeles for my arraignment.. enjoy-.
Reading your posts makes me feel young. Thank you guys!
hello, first let me apologixe for both my spelling and my grammer in advance, both are not my strong points.. i'll keep this short.
since i've been a child my mother has studied on and off with jw's ( i'm now 34) so i've been around it most of my life, i studied on and off myself for around 10 years.
thank's to this site and jwfacts i'll never study or step foot inside a kingdom hall again.
You have no idea what harsh is until you see my e-mails to two elders in my wife's congregation. You won't see them! That's how harsh they are
Your letter was firm and respectful. Just the way it should have been.
Funny that he said he would only discussed Bible based stuff. Isn't the Watchtower literature, according to JW's, bible based. If their literature is bible based and everything that apostates talk about is Watchtower teachings in their litearature, then apostates are talking about only Bible based stuff. Isn't that right??
i just read an opening post by el_ guapo about a one-eyed blind illegal immigrant that was staying at jw's houses because she couldn't find any work.
http://www.jehovahs-witness.net/jw/friends/262454/1/news-that-tugged-at-my-heart-strings.
aren't there laws against harbouring illegals?.
Watchtower is happy to take even Martians in, as long they preach, sell ragazines and contribute. Many so called privileges are denied to illegal aliens, just to keep some semblance of being a law abiding religion
how many here are (a) ex-jw, (b) non-jw with jw relatives or spouses, (c) inactive jw, or (d) active jw who stay in for your own reasons?.
Frazzled UBM,
Your story is the same as mine. By any chance, do you live in Los Angleles area. I need to vent with someone in person
how many here are (a) ex-jw, (b) non-jw with jw relatives or spouses, (c) inactive jw, or (d) active jw who stay in for your own reasons?.
never a witness, but brothers, wife, mother-in-law, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, lots of nephews and nieces, dogs still in the truth

like the "great crowd", they are "of every race, language, people, and nation (cf.
I imagine Leolaia being told by a chauvinistic, window-washer elder how to interpret the Bible. Utterly ridiculous!! And yet some elders do believe they know better than women just by virtue of their sex.
